With a notice dated 07 March 2024, the Ministry of Tourism has reopened the FRI TUR (Tourism Revolving Fund) measure, an initiative that aims to support the tourism sector through funding for energy requalification, seismic safety, the elimination of architectural barriers, and the digitisation of accommodation facilities. The call is managed by Invitalia and is aimed at managers and owners of accommodation activities such as hotels, agritourisms, outdoor facilities, and thermal complexes.
Companies can apply for non-repayable grants and subsidised financing, with the aim of starting work within three months of signing the financing contract and completing it by 31 December 2025. Eligible expenses include design, business land, buildings, machinery, and investments in digitisation.
The call provides for a submission procedure that starts with an application for funding from a bank that has an agreement with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, followed by an application to Invitalia.
Applications can be submitted from 1 July 2024 until 31 July 2024, and will be evaluated in chronological order of arrival.
